From my studio in Beeston Regis on the North Norfolk coast, I make paintings inspired by the things I notice around me, the particular light of a January morning, weather moving in from the sea, a familiar landscape, a fleeting moment or an everyday story.

I also run small, experimental abstract art workshops, where we explore colour, collage, paint and mark-making, and discover what happens when we stop worrying about getting it right.

And if you'd like to stay a little longer, I create small residential art holidays at Bloomsbury House in Sheringham, a few days of art tuition, with time to enjoy the coast too.

So, whether you're here to discover my paintings, find one to take home, join a workshop, or spend a few creative days by the sea, you're very welcome.

I don't teach people how to paint.
